Getting a Business Off the Ground
For a while I have been working on starting a home-based business. One of the biggest drawbacks has been that I feel I am “going it alone”. Now that has all changed since my girlfriend has started showing interest in helping me get things started. Although she isn’t into the “nuts and bolts” of how everything is going to work she is now an effective sounding board. Her main interest is redecorating the office, but even that is light years better than her previous interest level.
Currently she is picking out light fixtures, chairs and U shaped office desks. She is also getting more and more interested in the marketing side of things. However, her main contribution will be the fact that she has a degree in accounting. She is a whiz with numbers so that alone should represent a significant savings.
