Another Fourth Quarter Meltdown
Just got done watching the Steelers play the Detroit Lions. Although the Steelers were able to squeak out the win the game didn’t go as I thought it would. If they are going to make a serious play off run they really need to improve the second half play-calling. During the first half the offense always looks unstoppable but then it disappears once they take the field in the second half. Also, the defense needs to be fixed. Although they are still ranked in the top half the NFL, letting the Detroit Lions score twenty points is unacceptable. They managed to make Dante Culpepper (Lions starting QB) look like the second coming of John Elway. I’m not sure what kind of fat burners Culpepper used but I will admit he looks like a different player since losing the thirty pounds. That being said there is still no excuse for letting him throw for nearly three hundred yards. Its only the fifth week of the season but the Steelers definitely aren’t looking as good as they did last year.
