Game Day Meal
Normally when I watch football I cook a special meal because I find it brings the whole experience together. However, since it is August and this is only the pre-season I decided to cheat a bit. Recently a Famous Dave’s Restaurant was opened within driving distance of my house. If you aren’t familiar with Famous Dave’s it is a relatively new chain of BBQ restaurants. Since it had been about a year since I tried them I figured it was a good time to give them another go. I decided to get a variety of “Family Portions to Go” Here is what I ordered.

St. Louis-style Spareribs

Buffalo Chicken Wings

Corn Bread Muffins

Potato Salad
- Wilbur Beans
The food didn’t disappoint although it wasn’t as good as I had remembered but that could be due to it being a new location. All in all it was a good football meal that fed 4 of us with leftovers to spare. The cost was reasonable and it was convenient. I’ll definitely keep this option in mind for those Monday Night Football games when I can’t sneak out of work early enough to cook something of my own.
