Two Fat Cats
Now that I am trying to live a healthier lifestyle, I think it is time for me to spread this health bug throughout my house. The first ones to be informed of this change are the ones that are easiest to deal with, my pets. First up are the two “kitty cats”. In the past, we have had fat cats (one weighed 23 pounds) but I wouldn’t call these two fat, although they can stand to lose a few pounds.
When we first got them both were undersized, as strays usually are. Now that we have had them and spoiled them for 6 years, they weigh about 16 pounds each. Ideally I would like to get them down into the 12 pound range so starting tomorrow they will be going on a diet. Tomorrow I have to stop on the way home to pick up cat supplies so I might as well may get some advice while I am there. After a week or two of having them on a diet next comes the tough part, the dreaded girlfriend.
