Passing the Time
Waiting around in an airport has to be one of the most boring tasks ever undertaken. Personally, I have no idea how we dealt with it before the invention of laptops and MP3 players. Thankfully, we now have a ton of gadgets and distractions which make waiting around not quite as bad. Last week I arrived at the airport in San Juan with three hours to spare before my flight was scheduled to leave. If it were for the pleasant distraction of listening to my Ipod it would have been shear torture. You just have to love technology.
