Never Too Old to Learn
I just learned why you shouldn’t do yard work in shorts. I’ve been told my entire life that I should wear the proper protective clothing when I am doing yard work but of course I never listen. In the past I never had a problem with anything happening so it was no big deal. Well today I finally learned my lesson the hard way. I was doing a bit of edging along my garage when I hit a rock that shot back in my direction and took a nice little chunk out of my skin. Its nothing that requires any more than a thorough cleaning but it did teach me a valuable lesson.
