Looks Like Its That Time of Year Again
Well it looks like I won’t need a book to read on board the plane. My company starts its benefits open enrollment scheduled for the week I am cruising and it ends the week I return. So, I can make use of my waiting/flying time by going through the gi-normous information package they provide. Most of the time I just keep my elections the same but since 2009 is the year of fiscal responsibility I need to check out a couple of more options. Things like flexible spending accounts, and the breakdown of how my life insurance would be distributed. In fact, I need to look up the term life insurance definition to see if I need the additional coverage. I always see those commercials on television and always wondered what that was about. I wouldn’t want my girlfriend or momma to be left destitute if something were to happen to me.
