I Get Older, They Stay the Same Age

So, today my Pittsburgh Steelers play the Patriots.  Since the Patriots always seem to win I am more than a bit worried about how this game will turn out.  Too bad James Harrison won’t be on the field today as the Steelers really could use him.  That being said, I guess the silver-lining to his injury would be he can get more rest since at the beginning of the season it looked like he came back too fast from his new back surgery.

Its kind of weird watching the guys who play for your favorite team getting older.  Its times like this that make you realize just how old you are.  The players come in when they are in their early twenties and their bodies start breaking down in their thirties, then they retire.  This cycle repeats every single year so its like you get older but the players stay the same age.  In about 5 more years I will be admiring guys that will literally be young enough to be my son.
