Getting Caught in a Game of Numbers
My friend’s youngest daughter got pulled over for speeding the other day. It was a bit of a speed trap but she does shouldner some of the blame because she wasn’t aware of the rapid succession of speed limit changes. While it isn’t uncommon for things like this to happen around here, it can be avoided through the use of radar detectors. These days it seems as if police are more obsessed with hitting a quota than ever before. I’m not saying they drum up ways to get normally law abiding citizens but it does seem like they are more “proactive” in borderline situations. It is something we all need to be aware of in our everyday travels which is why I am an advocate of using everything at our disposal making sure we don’t get caught up in the numbers game.
