Cruising in Less Than 2 Weeks
It looks like I am entering into crunchtime, preparing for my cruise. This weekend I will be tying up all the loose ends like calling credit card companies and having paper delivery put on hold. I also need to call my cell-phone company. I read a story about someone’s Blackberry running up a thousand dollar phone bill. I guess it kept checking for new emails but was using the signal from the cruise ships cell tower. So, every time it connected the person was being charged international roaming rates. So I need to call my company and see how much it would cost to have a temporary international plan, since I hate to be completely shut-off from the world.
