Blinged out ball players
My girlfriend asked me a question the other day. We were watching the Phillies win the world series and she said, “do they get rings”. I assumed they did but I am not sure if I have ever seen a baseball championship ring. This past year when the New York Giants were presented with their monsterous diamond rings it was all over the news. While it is true the World Series trophy is the most aesthetically pleasing of the major sports trophies, that goes to the owner. The players do all the work so if they aren’t receiving rings comparable to their football counterparts they are really being short-changed.
