A Possible Christmas Present
I’m thinking of getting my girlfriend one of those netbooks for Christmas. We have a couple of desktops but this will be good for checking up on things quickly from the comfort of the couch. The newer models seem to have everything she will need to suit her purposes. She won’t be playing games (outside of solitaire and maybe online poker) or doing any processor intensive tasks, at most she’ll be sending emails, surfing the net and schedule editing for work. Now, I must admit that I am a bit concerned about the lack of a dvd drive but I figure I can just upload anything I really need to an online backup and access it from the netbook. All in all it seems like an excellent choice for a Christmas present.
