Why Netbooks are Better Than an iPad
With the introduction of ipad the focus seems to be on those types of devices. However, in my opinion they are more about flash than substance. While it is definitely innovative I can’t really see how an iPad offers anything even close to what netbooks bring to the table. To me an iPad is just an oversized iPod touch where as a netbook is a miniature computer. When you look at the processing power contained in netbooks the gap turns into a chasm. The netbook I purchased my girlfriend last Christmas allows her to do everything she can do on the desktop computer. The iPad I got a chance to play with would allow me to do everything I can do on a iPhone, except talk.
