My Strange Interaction at the Vet Hospital

Got my cats ashes back the other day, it was a pretty somber interaction.  I got the phone call that her ashes were ready so I went to pick it up the next day.  When I got there I didn’t recognize anyone working the front desk, which also meant they didn’t know me.  I know that’s not a big deal but since I have been going there for about 8 years its always nice to see a friendly face.  Its just that the person at the front desk handed me the wrong package at first which made things a little bit awkward.  Now, obviously everything was straightened out and the whole interaction only took about 5 minutes but it was enough to throw my day off.

A Visit to the Veterinary Hospital

I just had to take my cat in to be put down.  We rescued her about 6 years ago and she was never in the best health but over the past few months things really went downhill fast.  She probably lost about 10 lbs over the course of a 2 month period and over the last week or so hardly ate at all.  I didn’t think I would get as emotional as I did but when it comes to pets all bets are off.  I really have to commend the people at the vet hospital especially those doing the Veterinary Assistant Jobs they were all so great.  I’m sure they don’t make nearly as much as they should but in all my visits they are always the ones who end up having the greatest effect on my experiences.
