Rediscovering My Love of Music
I’m pretty excited. I’ve always wanted to learn to play the guitar but never got around to it. I come from a musical family but my brother was the guitar player of the bunch, I played the sax. Truthfully I haven’t played anything for quite some time but I’ve always missed it. Now that it is time to get back on that horse I am finally going to give the guitar a try. My girlfriend purchased one for me as a birthday present and also got me some accessories. I can already read music so it was great to receive some Dave Matthews tabs, a string swing and a nifty case. I pretty much got everything needed to rediscover my love of musical instruments.
Just Getting Better With Age
I was never that big on flowers. I know most guys aren’t but after a while we all give in, mainly because of the women in our lives. Now that I am a bit older I am starting to actually appreciate what a nice arrangement of custom flowers does to a home.
I really enjoy walking in and seeing a nice arrangement on the mantle of the fireplace. Ditto with what a bouquet of flowers used as a table arrangement does for Sunday meals or dinner when you have someone over. If I didn’t know any better I would swear a properly set table even makes the food taste better. I guess as you get older your tastes, or rather how you weight certain things change. Well as I push on towards my forties I guess you could say I am really learning how to take time to smell the roses.
