The Dreaded Workplace Potluck
Next week we have a potluck scheduled at my place of employment. Normally this wouldn’t be such a bad thing. The problem is I have a severe problem when it comes to eating food that I either haven’t seen prepared or don’t really know the people or the environment in which it was prepared. Most of the people I work with seem pretty safe. However, there are a couple of my co-workers who have what I would call questionable hygiene. I wouldn’t say anyone is out and out dirty, like to the point where they smell or anything. Though I will admit on occasion I have noticed a person or two leaving the bathroom without washing their hands. Actions like that are exactly why I am skeptical about partaking in such events. I guess over the next few days I have to deal with this dilemma.
