Has anyone seen Kitchen Nightmares
Has anyone seen the Gordon Ramsey show Kitchen Nightmares? If you haven’t see the show the basic premise is that world reknown chef Gordon Ramsey chooses a restaurant to reinvent. The restaurants chosen are usually places that have potential and he seems to have a soft spot for family run establishements. The restaurants are always places that are having financial difficulties and Ramsey comes along to save the day.
Now that I have explained what the show is about let me get to the point of why I am writing. At some point during the course of the show Ramsey starts digging through the kitchen showing us all the things we really don’t want to see. So far on this show I have seen bugs, mold, rotten food and worse. I’m not naive enough to think every restaurant I have eaten at is pristine, and I know they probably chose some of the worst case scenarios for the show but my god does it turn my stomach when they show the unsanitary conditions of some of these places. I guess my point is what I don’t know doesn’t hurt me but what they show me on television sure can make me lose my appetite.
