Cruiseship Cuisine
I am an avid cruiser, by avid I mean I go on a couple a year. The reason I choose cruises over standard vacations has alot to do with visiting several different places over the course of a week. However, I would be remiss if I denied that a major factor is the food available on cruise ships. Cruisers on the newer mega-ships can choose from a dozen or so restaurants many of which are open 24 hours per day. Most of the restaurants are free and they have excellent food. Some cruise ships feature restaurants that charge an additional fee, but these have food that rival the best restaurants you will find her in the states. When you couple the amount of choices available with the food you can sample in the ports you visit cruises become the ultimate foodie vacation.
