A watched pot…
I really seem to have a problem with getting distracted when I am cooking. I can be in the kitchen waiting for something to come to a boil or just waiting for something to get done in general when all of the sudden I get sidetracked. It may be a phone call or the dog needing to go outside, but it never fails to happen. If its something simple like boiling water it’s no big deal but if its a mission critical task it can spell disaster. I’m wondering if I should get one of those talking watches so the next time the dog needs to go out I still have a friendly reminder that the cookies need to come out of the oven a 5:30.
